We’re looking for energetic and proactive IRATA Rope Access Technicians (Level 1,2,3) to join our growing team in the geotechnical and construction industry.

Main task include:
- Perform geotechnical drilling operations using a variety of drilling techniques, including top hammer and down-the-hole (DTH) drilling.
- Operate Rope Access Marini/Wagon drills efficiently and safely
- Lead and supervise a team of trainees and drilling offsiders (IRATA level dependent).
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and on-the-job training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Prioritise safety as the topmost value during all drilling operations.
- Adhere strictly to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Apply slope stabilisation and geohazard remediation techniques, including Soil Nails, Shotcrete, Capping Beams, Micro Pile, Rock Bolt, and Rockfall Netting & Barrier installation.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to overcome drilling challenges encountered during slope stabilisation and geohazard remediation projects.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Report any equipment issues and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Record and maintain accurate data and logs related to drilling activities, equipment usage, and project progress.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 Years of Geotechnical Drilling Experience: You have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the geotechnical drilling industry utilising various drilling techniques such as top hammer and DTH drilling. You are well-versed in operating Rope Access Marini/Wagon drills.
- Your experience includes slope stabilisation and geohazard remediation techniques such as Soil Nails, Shotcrete, Capping Beams, Micro Pile, Rock Bolt, Rockfall Netting & Barrier installation.
- Safety-Focused Mindset: Due to the high-risk nature of these works, only candidates with demonstrable experience and attention to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) will be considered. Safety is your top priority, and you have a track record of adhering to strict safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team.
- Problem-Solving Aptitude: You're a natural at troubleshooting and finding solutions to drilling challenges in slope stabilisation and geohazard remediation projects. Your ability to think on your feet keeps projects on track, even in the face of unexpected obstacles.
- Flexibility and Travel: You thrive on variety and are willing to travel to different project sites across Qld & NSW. Your adaptability allows you to tackle diverse environments and climates.
