What we are looking for:
A dynamic rostering team who thrives on managing a mobile workforce to deliver exceptional home care services to elderly clients in our community. As a key member of our head office team, you'll build strong relationships with care workers and clients alike.
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong combination of dedication, patience, and a positive attitude, along with:
- Experience in rostering and scheduling within a community aged care organisation, ensuring client outcomes are achieved through efficient and well-planned scheduling practices
- A solid understanding of aged care services and organisational structures
- Customer service experience gained in a professional setting
- The ability to learn quickly, adapt to new systems, and grasp concepts
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- A proven ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Strong capacity to prioritise and manage workload independently
- Proficiency in an additional language (advantageous)
- Permanent Australian residency or citizenship
- A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule aged care services delivered in clients’ homes
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding scheduled services
- Maintain and update schedules to support the timely and efficient delivery of care
- Collaborate closely with Care Coordinators and Human Resources on staffing and rostering requirements
- Ensure accurate documentation of all scheduling-related activities
- Commit to ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives
