About the role
We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Safety Advisor to join our Safety & Operational Improvement team. This role is responsible for supporting the management, development, and continual improvement of our WHS systems and practices, in line with legislative obligations and ISO 45001 certification requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer and enhance WHS management systems, including MYOSH
- Provide accurate and timely WHS advice to operational teams
- Support WHS documentation, including SOPs and SWMS
- Assist with ISO 45001 compliance, audits, and continuous improvement activities
- Contribute to safety reporting, investigations and data analysis
- Promote a proactive, risk-aware culture across all levels of the business
About You
You are a safety-focused professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is driven to make a meaningful impact through practical WHS solutions. You will have;
- Qualifications in Work Health & Safety
- Experience with ISO 45001 and WHS management systems
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation (AU/NZ)
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to influence, engage, and support operational stakeholders
- Knowledge of heavy equipment and NHVL (advantageous)
