Sales Development Representative

Join our team as an Outbound Sales Development Representative and drive revenue growth with your prospecting skills!

As a key member of our Sales Development team, you will Responsible for identifying and engaging with businesses that could be our future customers or are already in our eco-system and are looking to overcome challenges, solve a problem or deliver against their goals. Working with our industry leading demand generation teams, you will reach out to those businesses enquiring or engaging with marketing content to educate them through insights and conversation, to inform how we can help them deliver their goals through our services.


About the team
Our team is responsible for supporting customers at all stages in their journey with Sage, but primarily focuses on new customer acquisition.

This is a hybrid role – three days per week in our Sydney office

Passionate about helping customers is a must. You are often the first human interaction with new customers - that's a big responsibility and we want to deliver breath-taking experiences. No pressure!

You need to be focused and be able to motivate yourself. Taking positive actions, being open to giving and receiving feedback and guidance is also important

You are decisive, bold and you flex your approach and style to suit the situation. Often this is a natural talent, but we can help you a bit with it too

Collaborate with colleagues across Sage, including Marketing, Business Development, Sales

Development, Product and Customer Success to build and execute industry aligned go-to market plans

Confidently tell the Sage story, deeply understand the Sage solutions, proposition differentiators, and maintain market and vertical knowledge.

You regularly showcase your personal brand and professional presence, including the use of Social Media platforms

Experience Required

Experience working within an Outbound Sales environment.

Proven experience of working towards and achieving targets.

Comfortable with technology and navigating computer systems.
