About the opportunity:
This is a rare and exciting sales leadership role where you'll spearhead the introduction of the highly respected Readymixbrand into the NSW market. It's more than just a job - it's the opportunity to lead a new brand, new team, and new market strategy from the ground up.
We're looking for a seasoned, energetic sales management professional who can combine strategic vision with hands-on execution. You'll be the driving force in:
- Maximising opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Delivering agreed sales targets and business goals.
- Building and maintaining strong relationshipswith builders, engineers, and contractors.
- Providing coaching and mentoring to your team to ensure high performance.
- Developing and implementing a customer first culture

Duties and responsibilities:
- Build relationships and identify sales opportunities.
- Generate and convert new leads.
- Build brand loyalty and maximise revenues.
- Develop and maintain a structured customer contact plan within the allocated accounts in line with allocated budget targets.
- Maintain and enhance positive working relationships with assigned customers to build customer loyalty.
- Identify and follow up all new business, product and/or project opportunities within the existing customer base.
- Resolve customer issues, disputes and/or complaints, both onsite and offsite, in a prompt and professional manner.
- Enrol relevant internal staff and ensure accountabilities are clearly defined to resolve issues satisfactorily.
- Proactively promote the full product and service range within the territory to maximise opportunities.
- Maintain an accurate and up to date customer database.
- Maintain an understanding of the market changes, trends, opportunities, risks and competitive activity within the allocated territory.
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all relevant internal staff that impact on the customer experience.
About you:
We're looking for a dynamic Sales professional with the skills, energy and leadership to take our sales team to the next level.
You'll be at the heart of building both our brand and our people - balancing the drive to achieve monthly sales targets with the long-term strategy of developing a best-in-class sales capability. Leading from the front, you'll coach, mentor and inspire your team to deliver results, while building strong client relationships and securing long-term accounts.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience leading high-performing sales teams, ideally in civil infrastructure or related sectors (industrial manufacturing, steel, pre-cast, industrial hire).
- Ideally a strong network within your industry, and the ability to leverage it for business growth.
- A `street-smart', down-to-earth approach, backed by integrity, professionalism and resilience.
- Skill in balancing quick wins with sustainable, strategic growth.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills - with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Google Docs, PowerPoint, SAP and related business systems.
Highly Regarded:
- Engineering and/or commercial qualifications.
- Experience closing deals and developing long-term customer accounts.
