Global Payment Solutions (GPS) is made up of almost 10,000 people, across more than 60 countries. The GPS business is uniquely positioned to help clients make payments across borders, across currencies and regulations, quickly and efficiently with dedicated in-country and regional support. We have an opportunity for a Sales Manager based in Barangaroo, supporting a high volume of inbound Global Network Banking clients. With a focus on driving sales growth through maintaining and enhancing existing revenue streams, while also developing new opportunities, you will identify and sell innovative GPS solutions to a portfolio of inbound multi-national clients within the Corporate and Institutional Banking segment. In doing so, you will work closely with other GPS areas and Relationship Management teams locally, regionally and globally.

Key Responsibilities:
- To act as a lead Sales Manager, managing a portfolio of existing clients and winning new clients to grow revenue and market share.
- Working closely with Relationship Managers and the global network to develop business opportunities in Australia.
- Creating strong client relationships by building rapport, understanding their unique requirements, and providing consultative advice to develop appropriate cash management and working capital solutions to meet their needs.
- Maintaining a close and effective working relationship with GPS Product, Client Services and Implementation teams to ensure optimal end to end client delivery and experience.
- Responsibility for pricing, reviewing and negotiating the full range of cash management services for the Corporate Sector clients.
- Managing RfP proposal procesess and writing client centric presentations.
- Driving sales efficiency, governance and continuous improvements.
- Continuously developing skills to meet the changing payments and technology landscape.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Solid demonstrated experience in a Sales or Relationship Management role, preferably in transactional banking, with experience working with a portfolio of Global Banking or Institutional Clients an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of cash management and clearing services, products and techniques.
- Proven sales record with the ability to identify and meet customer needs.
- A proactive, self-driven nature, combined with a solid team- focused mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders across functions and deliver compelling presentations.
- Excellent business acumen and commercial awareness with demonstrated experience delivering creative and flexible solutions.
- A good understanding of the market, economic trends and regulatory environment.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
