DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Overview:
This dual-role position is ideal for a proactive individual who enjoys both customer-facing sales support and hands-on assembly work. The successful candidate will assist in driving showroom sales, responding to customer inquiries, and assembling furniture for display and client delivery.
Key Responsibilities - Sales & Customer Support (Primary Focus)
- Greet and assist walk-in customers in the showroom with product selection
- Provide quotes and pricing for office desks, chairs, and accessories
- Respond to phone, email, and online inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Generate invoices and process sales orders accurately
- Record customer requirements and proactively follow up on open quotes and leads
Furniture Assembly (Secondary Focus)
- Assemble office chairs, desks, tables, and other furniture for showroom displays and client orders
- Assist with showroom and warehouse furniture setup and layout as required
- Maintain tools and assembly area in a clean, organised, and safe condition
You will be required to perform your duties at Unit 2/103 Fitzgerald Rd, Laverton North VIC 3026 or elsewhere as reasonably directed by the employer.
Job Types: Full-time, Casual
Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
