- Working with Children Check Clearance
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake First Aid training.
- Administration of Medications – training to be provided based on student needs.
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively as part of a team.
- Administration skills including a knowledge of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with teachers and students.
- Ability to perform tasks in one or more of the following areas: office procedures; accounting procedures; sick bay; hospitality and /or design and technology; science.

Mary Brooksbank School is a dedicated centre of educational excellence, specifically catering to students with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities, often accompanied by complex behavioural and emotional needs. We serve a diverse student population of 123 students,10% of whom are from First Nations backgrounds, across 20 classes ranging from Kindergarten to Year 12 using Positive Behaviour for Learning and Play-Based Learning principles to foster an inclusive and supportive environment.
