Ventia are currently looking to engage a part-time Seamsperson for the National Clothes Store Services contract at the Barracks in Enoggera. The Seamsperson contributes to the provision of effective and efficient Clothing Stores Service delivery.

- Part-time - Week 1: Thursday & Friday, Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday = 38 hours a fortnight.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive, check and acquit stores under supervision
- Stock packing and preparation for dispatch
- Assist with kit issues for customers
- Inspect and accept return items
- Manual handling using various methods
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Previous customer service /warehouse/ retail duties
- Drivers Licence and own transport - required
- Proficient computer skills
- Work in a Team / Customer Service environment
- High attention to detail, accuracy and time management
- Industrial Sewing Machine experience - advantageous
Must be eligible to hold a Defence baseline security clearance. As a result of this requirement, the applicant must be an Australian Citizen.
