ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, fast learning applicant to join our Stock Management Team. You will be working alongside a team of Stock Management specialists who are responsible for the accurate and timely lodgement of written-off vehicle data to the national Written-Off Vehicle Register (WOVR). This role ensures compliance with legislative requirements, enables coordination between different states, and contributes to the integrity of vehicle history records across Australia.

Enjoy the flexibility of a casual role with the option to work in a hybrid environment. Shifts are available Monday to Friday, between 8am and 5pm. In this role, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately lodge written-off vehicle data into the WOVR system in accordance with national and state-specific legislation.
  • Liaise with insurance vendors, assessors, and government agencies to verify and validate vehicle write-off information.
  • Monitor and audit lodgement data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or errors in WOVR entries.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of WOVR legislation and procedural changes across all jurisdictions.
  • Prepare reports and maintain statistics on lodgement activity and compliance performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to WOVR processes and internal processes.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience using Outlook, Microsoft Excel and other IT based systems at a proficient level
  • Demonstrated experience in data entry, auditing, or regulatory compliance.
  • Experience working with government or inter-agency systems is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to national coordination or working across multiple software platforms is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of vehicle assessment and insurance industry practices.
  • Familiarity with national and state-based WOVR registration systems.
  • Understanding of WOVR coding, security, and compliance requirements
