Overview:
Accord Security is seeking reliable and professional Security Officers to support the protection of our clients’ premises, personnel, and guests. In this position, you’ll be responsible for regularly patrolling assigned locations, addressing security issues as they arise, and helping to maintain a safe and welcoming environment through alertness and strong customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine patrols of designated areas to prevent unauthorized entry, theft, and potential safety risks
- Operate and monitor surveillance systems, responding quickly to alarms or unusual activity
- Accurately log daily activities and promptly report any incidents, hazards, or suspicious behaviour
- Provide support and guidance to staff and visitors while maintaining a safe and respectful environment
- Liaise with emergency services during incidents requiring external response
- Follow all security protocols and present a clean, professional image at all times
Qualifications:
- Keen observational skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Remains composed and effective under pressure, especially in emergency situations
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended durations
- Holds a current and valid security officer license as required by local regulations
- Willingness to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Pay: $34.54 – $71.72 per hour
Expected hours: 46 – 62 per week

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
