What’s the role?
In this hands-on role, you will work with a unique team within our non-financial risk business, you will own the identification, assessment, risk management and resolution of complex personal conflicts of interest across the Bank. Personal conflicts of interest include but are not limited to, personal trading, external business interest, directorship close personal relationship, gifts and hospitality.
You will drive key risk mitigation activities and influence critical compliance decisions. Your insights and proactive management will empower business leaders to make confident, compliant choices — safeguarding the bank’s integrity every step of the way in managing insider trading risk and ensuring compliance of obligation across the Bank in relation to Personal Conflicts.
You will conduct thorough, timely investigations into reported incidents, applying your analytical skills to uncover root causes and recommend corrective actions.
What do I need?
- Substantial experience in Conflict-of-Interest Management, Risk or Compliance role within the banking financial services or legal sector
- Sharp analytical and investigative skills
- Strong accountability and decision-making ability to act now and deliver safely
- High level of accuracy and competence of data entry and record-keeping
- Experience with Excel and data management tools (Power BI) (highly regarded)
