Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Centre Manager to join our Real Estate Management Services team, who are driven to maximise the performance of our client’s assets by providing an integrated solution that seamlessly connects leasing, marketing, centre management and facilities management all through one point of contact.
Based at a busy neighbourhood shopping centre in Burwood, this key role will be responsible for effectively managing and maximising the performance of this asset. The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Overseeing the presentation, maintenance of the asset, compliance and ensuring a high standard of presentation at all times
- Maintaining close liaisons with the owners and tenants and fostering effective working relationships
- Driving the leasing of the Centre through working closely with the Colliers leasing executives to canvass new retailers in the local market and achieving and maintaining a zero-vacancy level
- Preparation of all related contracts, reports, budgets, reconciliations, correspondence and documentation
- Proactively managing the income and expenditure, as well as the financial reporting requirements for the client
- Supervision of tenancy fit outs to ensure consistency and compliance with buildings objectives
- Compiling and implementing the asset’s strategic plan and marketing strategy
- Communicating frequently with the owner and all tenants and provide timely relevant and professional advice to the owners in all aspects of the management of the property
Qualifications
- 8 + years’ experience in retail property management or centre management, including a thorough understanding of retail leasing practices, legislation, procedures and terminology
- NSW Real Estate Certificate or license
- Strong working knowledge of building services and real estate market activities, developments and trends
- Strong Excel skills
- Previous use of MRI management system (or similar) is highly regarded
- Strong organisational and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and foster key relationships and your desire to work in a highly team orientated environment
- Strong attention to detail
