As a Senior Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for administering a range of construction and services contracts in place to successfully support the execution of the Silver City Project. The role will be based at the Client Corporate Office site in Melbourne, with regular (monthly) site visits required (Broken Hill - likely for 2-4 days each visit). This role is integral to the successful delivery of construction and services contracts on-site, ensuring compliance, performance, and value across the supply chain.
This role will initially be on a 1 year fixed term duration.

What you’ll do
The role responsibilities include:
- Administer construction and services contracts in accordance with project execution plans and company requirements.
- Support the Contracts & Procurement Manager in managing contractor performance, claims, and risk.
- Coordinate with the site teams, including construction, interface management, engineering, planning, HSE, and quality, to ensure contract deliverables are met safely and in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate contract records and contract data systems (likely to be Procore for this project).
- Administer nominated packages including notices, variations, site instructions and extensions of time.
- Oversee the processing of all Contract progress claims through to Payment Certificate and payments.
- Support the Project Services teams to validate cost and schedule forecasting and reporting for end-of-month reporting and client contract reports.
- Support the Project Services team with all claim reviews, including where applicable milestone and / or value earned assessments.
- Lead contractor progress meetings representing Company’s interests.
- Act as first point of contact for any contract disputes and liaise with legal and client representatives on contractual matters/disputes and negotiations.
- Pro-active training to PMC and Client team on the Contracts under your administration.
- Timely closeout of contracts.
What you’ll have
- Tertiary qualification in supply chain, law, business administration, quantity surveying/construction management or related field, or equivalent relevant experience. RIQS accreditation highly regarded.
- Demonstrated principled leadership in contract formulation and extensive contracts administration experience in executing major projects in an PMC / EPCM organization, preferably in the construction / energy or resources sector with sound business ethics and consistency with Worley’s Values is essential.
- Strong understanding of contract terms, negotiation, and claims management.
- Proficiency in procurement and project systems (e.g., Procore).
