Job Description
Join our team as a Senior Well Test Supervisor and take the lead in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality well testing and flowback operations. This senior FIFO role (22/20 roster) offers the opportunity to guide a skilled team, mentor new talent, and drive operational excellence from rig-up to final reporting. Key Responsibilities include, however, not limited to:
- Provide technical support to customer representatives as required.
- Interpret complex Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) associated with Well Test installations.
- Implement and monitor pre-project and annual maintenance programs for field equipment.
- Operate all equipment, including the test separator, independently and confidently.
- Oversee full package test operations.
- Participate in the field crew assessment program.
- Lead field training and mentoring to maintain high team performance and morale.
- Encourage hands-on experience for trainees under supervision.
- Demonstrate professionalism, safety adherence, and quality work as a role model.
- Supervise Operators and delegate tasks effectively.
- Plan, organise and direct personnel across multiple well sites.
- Oversee commissioning of new equipment.
- Communicate field delays or issues to management while managing them onsite.
- Review production costs, efficiency measures, and report findings to management.
- Ensure accurate reporting of surface and down-hole test data.
- Coordinate field operations and advise the Well Services Coordinator of any procedural changes.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of supervisory experience in Onshore Well Testing and Frac Flowback operations
- Proven experience in a supervisory role
- Proficient in computer use and electronic product servicing
- Experience with work processing and spreadsheet software
- CV Crane licence, 4WD licence and HR driver’s licence
- Senior First Aid certificate
- Gas Detection training certificate
- Wellsite Permit to Work Holder or Authority training
