Job Duties/Essential Functions
- Prepares meat, poultry, cold meat, vegetables and seafood as per Standard Operating Procedures
- Assembles platters, pizzas, sushi, salads, raw meats and other items sold in the Service Deli and Rotisserie departments
- Skewers and loads chicken into rotisserie ovens
- Cooks chicken as per Standard Operating Procedure
- Packages, labels and displays chicken in hot holding cabinet
- Provides and ensures prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees and vendors.
- Dismantles equipment, washes, rinses and sanitises removable parts, equipment in Deli and Rotisserie rooms
- Inspects and reassembles equipment, addresses any corrective actions from the previous night
- Rework display case, filling and rotating merchandise
- Completes required department paperwork
- Cleans and sanitises work area throughout the day following sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOP)
- Completes and complies with 11 commandments of Quality assurance, food safety certification, department specific
- Complies with health code by following sanitation standards and maintaining proper temperatures
- Stocks and rotates supplies in cooler/freezer
- Removes rubbish from department and work areas
- Operates trash compactor and cardboard baler
- Adheres to all departments Standard Operating Procedures
- Assists with other department of the warehouse as necessary
- Provides and ensures prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees and vendors.
- Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery; pressure washer, commercial dish washer, combination heat/steam oven, warming case, shears, wheeled racks, proofing boxes, ovens, trash compactor, cardboard baler, pallet jack, blast chiller, air hose cleaner, step ladder.
