The Service

KU Ultimo Children’s Centre , located in Sydney's CBD within walking distance from multiple public transport options, We are a community based long day care service where children learn through play, and are inspired to continue learning through specialised experiences based upon their interests and motivations. The Role

KU Ultimo are looking for an experienced, motivated, and passionate early childhood teacher to lead our team. We need a mentor, who is thrives on continuous improvement, innovative pedagogy and reflective practice.

This is a permanent, full time position working 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday . You will receive a generous director's allowance and accrue a paid monthly rostered day off each and every month !

Of course, you will need:

  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
  • Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
