About the role
Are you a skilled administrator with a passion for supporting education? The Education Administrator Short Courses is responsible for the comprehensive administration of a variety of short courses and commercial programs. This role encompasses oversight of enrolment pipelines, logistical administration to support teaching areas, and managing certificationsfor public and commercial initiated programs. You will collaborate across multiple internal teams including Client Services and Academic Registry to ensure a positive student experience across all short courses. As a key contact point, you’ll help maintain the efficiency and compliance of operations, upholding both organisational and legislative standards. You are an enthusiastic and capable professional with a broad range of administrative skills and a strong commitment to excellence. You bring a proven ability to work effectively within a team, while also building strong relationships and fostering collaboration across various business units. Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills enable you to confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally. You demonstrate initiative, approach challenges with practical problem-solving skills, and maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in every task. With solid proficiency in technology, including the Microsoft Office suite, databases, and student management systems, you also possess outstanding data entry capabilities that support efficient and reliable administration.
Qualifications and experience
- High level administrative experience (at least 3 years) preferably within the education sector would be advantageous
- Experience working collaboratively across multiple functional areas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and proactive approach

Mandatory requirements
- Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
- Current Police Check (no older than 12 months old)
