About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Project Supervisor to lead commercial projects (under $1M) from start to finish. You'll oversee site works, coordinate crews and contractors, assist with estimating, and ensure quality standards are met across a range of sports and landscaping builds.
Project Supervision & Management
- Oversee on-site construction to ensure work meets spec, budget, and deadlines
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, materials, and equipment
- Lead start-up meetings and supervise construction activities
- Conduct QA checks, site inspections, and manage hold points
- Proactively resolve site issues and variations
- Ensure WHS and QA documentation is maintained
Estimating & Quoting
- Complete take-offs using Bluebeam, Excel, Word, and basic CAD
- Prepare accurate, professional quotations
- Collect site data for pricing and planning
- Liaise with clients, builders, architects, and government contacts
Sales Support
- Handle sales inquiries and attend site inspections
- Advise clients on products and construction methods
- Assist with material take-offs and defining scope
Project Planning & Procurement
- Assist with project scheduling and staff allocation
- Help source materials, subcontractors, and equipment via MYOB
- Confirm material quality and availability before works begin
Project Close-Out
- Perform final site inspections to ensure quality standards
- Manage defect lists and coordinate timely fixes
- Ensure sites are cleaned and fully reinstated
- Organise return and proper storage of leftover materials
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on construction supervision experience (ideally in sports, landscaping, or civil works).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to read plans and work with digital tools like Excel, Word, Bluebeam (CAD knowledge a bonus).
- Willingness to travel for short periods (3–5 days) as needed.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and attention to detail.
