Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee and manage site activities on a casual or permanent part-time basis. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our quality standards. This role is perfect for a proactive individual with excellent leadership abilities and strong knowledge of construction processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring all work is completed to specification and complies with safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
- Oversee scheduling, daily progress tracking, and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor quality and progress, addressing any issues promptly.
- Enforce and promote on-site health and safety policies, conducting toolbox talks as needed.
- Maintain clear, accurate records of project status, daily site activities, and any incidents.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a site supervision role within residential or commercial construction.
- Certifications: Construction Safety Induction (White Card) required.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
