We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team specialising in defence projects across the Northern Territory.
About the Role:
As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing subcontractors, and maintaining project schedules and quality standards. Your experience with defence-related construction or infrastructure projects will be essential in delivering outcomes that meet stringent government requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
- Manage subcontractors and site personnel to maintain high standards of workmanship and productivity.
- Monitor progress and liaise closely with project managers and clients to address any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety policies and defence industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate site records and reporting.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on defence projects or similar high-security infrastructure works.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, safety regulations, and quality assurance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in remote or regional environments within the Northern Territory.
- Relevant trade qualifications or construction management credentials.
Desirable:
- Current DCAC certification.
- Experience working on Australian government or defence contracts.
- First aid certification and valid construction safety cards.
