In the role of Small Business Banker located in Townsville QLD, you will join a passionate team that’s putting the customers at the centre of everything you do.
Small Business is an energetic and highly engaged division within NAB, providing full-service support to our valuable small business customers. We encourage their business growth and support their personal journeys because our customers depend upon the resilience and courage of experienced bankers like you to guide them through challenges and develop long-term, trusted partnerships.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Keep things simple whilst managing small business lending requests up to $2 million, and home lending up to $5 million
- Move with speed in this role converting leads into wins, fuelling growth and delivering impressive results whilst driving customer advocacy
- Be customer obsessed and increase the portion of customers who consider NAB to be their Bank of Choice
- Own it by understanding our customers’ needs to provide tailored holistic banking solutions.
- Win together by building relationships with our brokers and proprietary customers to create and action new business opportunities as well as supporting our existing customers
We’re looking for the brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Motivation to build genuine personal connections with our customers, empowering them to feel confident and bring their business dreams to life.
- Lending experience in business banking or retail banking and navigating credit process
- Strong customer and relationship management and a passion for networking and growing your portfolio.
- Problem solving, critical thinking and negotiation skills
