As part of CBA’s Business Banking division, Small Business Banking provides both in-branch and remote support to small businesses across the country. We build strong relationships with our customers and communities through deep engagement, a compelling value proposition, and exceptional execution.
Do work that matters
We’re looking for a Business Banker with commercial lending experience to join our Camden branch. In this role, you’ll be part of a high-performing team, delivering outstanding service to Small Business customers by understanding their needs and supporting them through the end-to-end fulfilment of tailored financial solutions. You’ll also play a key role in business development within your local community and help retain valuable client relationships by offering a premium banking experience.
More specifically, you will:
Lead meaningful customer conversations to uncover goals and provide timely, relevant solutions—including commercial lending up to $1M, asset finance, merchant facilities, and everyday banking.
Proactively engage with customers to support both their business and personal financial wellbeing.
Act as a brand ambassador in the local business community, promoting CBA’s business banking proposition and hosting educational events that support financial literacy.
Attend stakeholder meetings to build awareness of our Small Business offering and develop referral partnerships.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have
Experience in commercial lending or B2B sales.
Strong financial analysis skills and commercial acumen.
Excellent customer engagement abilities, both in-person and remotely.
A track record of managing customer pipelines and facilitating proactive outreach.
A passion for supporting small businesses, or firsthand experience running one.
FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation and Credit Approval Authority (CAA) Level 2, or a willingness to obtain these within 6 months.
