Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Social Media & Content Executive will be responsible for executing and amplifying the Social Media strategy for all Global Torrens Education Services social media channels including but not limited to Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
Being Creative, Bold and doing Well, The Social Media & Content Executive will work closely with vertical marketing teams to help source, socialise, and publish engaging content in order to drive further awareness and consideration of our brands to support new enrolment and revenue targets.

- Supporting and implementing the Social Media strategy following the best practice for each channel.
- Creating monthly content calendars in collaboration with various business units.
- Facilitating the ideation and creation of on-brand content for our social media channels to help diversify our social media content. I.e. video, photo, and copy.
- Managing briefs & deadlines to ensure content is delivered in line with the monthly calendar.
- Increasing community engagement through working closely with the community management team, Campus Directors and Student Ambassadors.
This is a permanent, full time opportunity for a candidate based at our Sydney campus.
You must have strong editing skills in CapCut, experience working with Student Ambassadors and video content creators, proven experience as in marketing influencer and working knowledge of project management in tools such as Monday.com
The remuneration for this role is between 72K – 77K + super. Salary offered will depend upon experience and alignment with job requirements.

Who you are
To be successfully considered for this role, we believe you must have:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in Social Media content creation and management, a deep knowledge of Social Media best practices and algorithms and an advanced understanding of Facebook Ads Manager
- Software Skills: Working experience with Emplifi and Loomly, and measurement platforms such as Bitly or Facebook Insights This means you must have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations
- Communication Skills: Excellent written communication skills, including strong editing and brief-writing with a creative flair and a magical touch to create and present using tools such as Power Point.
- Commitment to achieve: you must have strong time management skills, fostering strong relationships with the rest of the marketing team and across all departments based on trust, respect, collaboration, constructive feedback and flexibility to support other team members
