About the role
The Brand & Campaigns Team exists to position and govern our brand to build trust & value with customers. As part of this team, the Social Media Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing and growing the Water Corporation social media presence, ensuring our content is timely, accurate, and aligns with our business objectives and social media strategy. This role provides specialist channel expertise to plan and deliver industry-leading and consistent customer experiences, in line with Brand and Customer Strategies.

What you can expect with this role
- You’ll be responsible for managing and growing the Water Corporation social media presence, ensuring our content is timely, accurate, and aligns with our business objectives and social media strategy.
- You’ll lead the planning, production, and publishing of multimedia content across social channels.
- You’ll develop and implement paid social media campaigns using Meta Ads Manager.
- You’ll analyse customer feedback and online trends to help inform future content planning and improvements.
- You’ll be the ‘go to’ across the business to provide expert guidance and training on social media best practices.
- You’ll monitor performance using industry-leading tools, delivering insights and recommendations.
- You’ll contribute to monthly reports profiling social media metrics and performance.
- You’ll work with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver impactful campaigns and projects.
- You’ll support cross-collaborative communications during incidents, with occasional out-of-hours work required.
Your skills and experience
For this role, we are looking for great talent with:
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business.
- Considerable experience in social media marketing, digital engagement channels, and community management within a large complex organisation.
- Considerable experience in utilising various social media platforms (including Facebook business manager, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Demonstrated experience using social media management and monitoring solutions e.g. Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Agora Pulse, Hootsuite or similar.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering social and/or digital marketing campaigns and always-on content programs.
- Strong understanding of content strategy, analytics and platform management.
- Experience collaborating and leading initiatives across teams, managing stakeholders in various levels of the organisation.
