The Opportunity
Ocean View Retirement Living is a vibrant community, set atop of Sexton Hill with glorious views of the Pacific Ocean for the enjoyment of all residents from the community centre. In this new and exciting position, you will work as a Personal Care Attendant to provide high-quality social support and daily assistance to residents within their Aveo home. This highly social role has a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building social connection and assisting with day-to-day tasks. This is a part-time position working:
- Week One: Monday 10am-2.10pm, Tuesday 12pm-4.10pm, Wednesady 12.30pm-5pm, Thursday 10am-4pm and Friday 10am-4pm.
- Week Two: Wednesday 11.0-4.30pm, Thursday 9am-4.45pm and Friday 8am-2.30pm
Your Impact
- Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (e.g. driving them to appointments)
- Supporting residents with recreational and social activities
- Assist residents with their day-to-day routines in line with their current needs (e.g assist around their unit)
- Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents
- Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date
- $33.27/hr + super + relevant award entitlements including afternoon penalty rates, overtime and allowances

- Experience within a Support Worker or Personal Care position, with a passion for independence and wellbeing
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required)
- Valid drivers license + vehicle (required)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
- Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you)
