Part-time: 10 hours per week
Calvary Health Care Hobart is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospital Assistant to join our busy Maternity Unit team. This position is ideal for someone with strong clerical skills and a proven ability to provide high-quality support in a hospital environment.
About the Role
This role combines ward-based clerical duties with general hospital assistant tasks, supporting our team to deliver exceptional patient care. The successful applicant will work 5-hour shifts across a variety of days from Monday to Sunday, with the majority of shifts rostered in the afternoon and evening.
Key Responsibilities
Provide efficient clerical and administrative support to the Maternity Unit.
Assist the clinical team with non-clinical ward duties.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage documentation.
Uphold Calvary’s values of Hospitality, Healing, Stewardship and Respect in every interaction.
About You
Demonstrated history of living and working in alignment with Calvary’s values.
Previous experience in a similar role within a hospital environment is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
Flexibility to work a range of days and shifts, including weekends and evenings.
