We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent full-time Sponsorship Manager to join our Sales & Sponsorship team. In this role, you will lead all aspects of sponsorship activity from managing and developing existing accounts to identifying and securing new, strategically aligned sponsorship opportunities.
The ideal candidate will bring strong client relationship management skills and a strategic mindset to grow our sponsorship portfolio. This role plays a key part in strengthening our commercial partnerships, enhancing our market presence, and delivering long-term value for both the business and our partners.

What will your responsibilities be?
- Support the development and implementation of the annual Sponsorship and Business Development strategy.
- Prepare and manage the annual revenue and expenditure budgets for race sponsorship activities across Caulfield and Sportsbet Sandown Racecourses.
- Secure new Club partners and sponsors by focusing on business development, generating leads, and presenting tailored sponsorship proposals.
- Manage the annual sponsorship renewal process, identifying opportunities for growth and presenting tailored proposals to secure ongoing partnerships.
- Oversee the execution of all sponsor entitlements across Caulfield and Sandown race meetings, including race sponsorship, corporate hospitality, signage, branding, and on-site activations.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to coordinate sponsor advertising and promotional materials, ensuring timely artwork approval and production.
- Attend MRC race days to host sponsors and promote our brand.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Sponsorship role within a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality/events environment.
- Strong understanding of the racing industry.
- Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at a senior level.
- Proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
- Experience managing and leading a team.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Great time management and prioritisation skills.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
