A new opportunity has arisen for a casual gas projects street walker / planner to join Service Stream's Clayton office, Victoria.About the Role
Service Stream delivers end-to-end engineering and asset management services to leading utility and infrastructure providers across Australia.
This position is only casual for the tendering period and is responsible for working collaboratively within the Gas Projects Team to assist with the estimating of renewals projects. The Project Street Walker / Planner supports the primary estimator and delivery team by collecting relevant street data, doing drawing take offs, contacting suppliers for quotes, and assist developing estimates.
Key responsibilities;
- Support estimator or project team as required
- Perform street walking and record data as required by estimator
- Perform drawing take offs
- Contact suppliers for quotes
- Develop estimates if requested
- Contact suppliers for quotes
Experience required
- Gas experience required
iPad / MS office competence
Qualifications required
- Gas trained or plumber desirable
