About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Coordinator to provide support to the Warehouse Manager to ensure the accuracy and maintenance of general materials. In this role you’ll ensure that all stock holdings and availability are logged at the Infrastructure Signal Depot. You’ll also manage any specific material contracts to ensure risk itigations and prioritise are maximised.
This is a permanent role based out at E-Gate, you will be required to be on site.
Key Responsibilities
- You’ll carry out warehouse duties including receiving, storage and issuring of materials
- Perform inspections on deliveries to ensure a high quality of goods being received
- Conduct daily Cycle Counts of the materials stored throughout E-Gate in alignment to the Cycle Count Process
- Ensure all defects, rejected or damaged materials requiring to be repaired or returned to the manufacturer
- Manage the cycle counter register by Auditing and following up Departmental managers for WON to correct Ellipse
Qualifications
- Forklift and Motor Vehicle licence is mandatory or willing to obtain
- Demonstrated experience in a support position in a warehouse environment
- Ability to collect, analyse and present workplace data and information
- Strong communication skills with all levels of management and staff (verbal and written)
- Ability to follow occupational health, safety, and environmental procedures in the rail industry
- Ability to identify customer specifications and requirements
- Ability to negotiate, persuade and influence opinions
- Ability to schedule work priorities to ensure deadlines are strictly adhered to.
