Our ISS Health Team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of Support Service Attendant/Ward Support/Orderly at Queen Elizabeth Hospital at Woodville South.
This Part Time role is required on a Saturday and Sunday 1900 to 0306.
Support Services Attendants:
The Support Service Attendant (SSA) is a multi discipline role encompassing performing the following duties;
- Patient Movement and Co-ordination Service
- Transporting patients across the hospital site as directed
- Assist with transportation of medical equipment
- Collection and delivery of records and documentation
- Assist with transportation of equipment across the site
- Follow all infection prevention protocols
- Adhere to correct manual handling procedures and WHS practices

Minimum Criteria:
- Available to work Saturday night 1900 to Sunday morning, 0306 AND Sunday night 1900 to Monday morning 0306.
- Willingness to gain or provide evidence of immunisation for Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Pertussis, and Diptheria as per SA Health policy
- Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Current Police Clearance no older than 12 months, or the ability to obtain (Essential)
- Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC), or the ability to obtain (Essential)
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
