The Role

We are looking to hire a casual Support Service Employee who has previous experience in laundry and housekeeping and can work a variety of shifts.


As a Support Service Employee your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Assist with full range of domestic duties
  • Clean picture frames, wall ornaments and sanitise all towel dispensers, light and air-conditioning switches
  • Be responsible for the general cleanliness of the kitchen, including all appliances, storage areas, work benches and floors
  • Prepare clothing, garments and linen for washing and drying and perform those duties using safe handling of laundry chemicals
  • Make beds, change linen, turn mattress where necessary
  • Wet dust all picture frames and wall ornaments
  • Wet wipe and sanitise all towel dispensers, light and air-conditioning switches
  • Wipe over all lights in front foyer, lounge, activities room, and at the entrance.
  • Clean exhaust hoods in the kitchen

  • Genuine compassion, commitment and enthusiasm
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Empathy towards the elderly and respectful of their needs
  • Flexibility to work on rotating shifts morning & afternoon Mon-Sun
  • Able to provide evidence of COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
