About the role
As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting recruitment across Council. You’ll work closely with hiring managers to coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, while also contributing to the development and continuous improvement of our talent acquisition tools, processes, and onboarding experience.
On a daily basis you will:
- Support hiring managers with their recruitment; including conducting job briefs, assisting with interviews, participating on interview panels, supporting with reference checks & providing coaching and ongoing advice to a wide range of business units.
- Improve hiring manager tools & resources to reduce barriers and strengthen hiring manager capability and confidence.
- Supporting with projects & ad-hoc business requirements such as reporting, employer branding, process improvement and other projects as needed.
- Utilise existing technology to improve hiring manager experience and adopting tools and resources to improve recruitment/ TA activities.
- Support the TA Officer with their management of pre-employment & onboarding - identifying areas of improvement and elevating candidate experience.
- Use trends, best-practice & market leading approaches to better inform how we approach TA and uplift our service to the organisation. Experience supporting corporate business units will be highly regarded.

- Is comfortable using recruitment systems and tools, and open to learning new technologies
- Is a team player who’s always willing to pitch in and give things a go
What’s on offer
We are offering an attractive remuneration from $101,563 plus 11.5% superannuation.
