A little about the role
Supporting the Program Manager, the Team Manager will provide effective line management, supervision, coaching, and training to ensure the delivery of high-quality, culturally responsive practice.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the overall management of service delivery, ensuring all operational processes align with the organisation's strategic objectives.
- Providing induction, training, coaching, and support to Social/Case Workers.
- Monitoring service quality through data reports, audits of Social/Case Worker records, and regular coaching sessions to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensuring that all services are culturally responsive and child-safe, implementing risk assessments and safety planning as required.
The base salary for this position is $110,102.72- $114,983.44 per annum (based on 1.0 FTE), + super + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. This is a full-time, ongoing position.
About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll come with:
- A recognised Social Work Qualification (or similar).
- Minimum five years’ experience as a qualified social worker in children and family services, including two years in a leadership or supervisory position, guiding and supporting teams.
- Demonstrated experience working with children, supporting their individuality and fostering their development.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and publications related to children’s services, as well as current best practices and child safeguarding standards in the state.
