Job Description
We are hiring a Technology Risk Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering outcome-focused risk and control assessments across technology projects and portfolios. This role is instrumental in ensuring strategic objectives are achieved, risks are effectively managed, and benefits are realised.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent oversight and challenge the effectiveness of risks and controls during pre- and post-implementation phases of technology projects.
- Advise project and program teams on identifying, monitoring, measuring, and managing existing and emerging risks.
- Support strategic risk initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure risk insights influence decision-making and project outcomes.
Key Capabilities & Skills
- Strong understanding of Risk and Controls Management within the technology domain.
- Technical insight across Infrastructure, Data, Cloud, and Service Management.
- Experience with Project Lifecycle Management and governance.
- Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across various levels.
Desirable Skills
- Proficiency in Data Analytics and Reporting Tools.
- Experience in Technology Audit and Assurance.
- Demonstrated coaching and leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Risk, Compliance, Assurance, or Regulatory roles.
- Professional consulting experience in risk management, ideally within a Big 4 or similar large consulting firm.
- Solid understanding of Technology Risk and Compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Preferred certifications: CISA, CRISC, PRINCE2, Agile.
