Are you passionate about livestock and ready to make a real impact in rural Australia? Elders Blackall is seeking a Livestock Territory Sales Manager to join our high-performing team in the heart of Queensland’s cattle country.
As a key player in our team, you’ll bring energy, initiative, and a customer-first mindset to help drive sales and support producers across the region. You’ll be backed by the strength of Elders' trusted name and by access to one of the most iconic saleyards in the country: The Blackall Saleyards.
Why this role is unique:
The Blackall Saleyards, established in 1968, serve as the major livestock selling centre in Western Queensland. With over 130,000 head of cattle passing through annually, these saleyards are a central hub for producers across a vast geographical area. This state-of-the-art facility provides a significant competitive advantage to any sales professional looking to expand their client base, drive sales, and be part of a dynamic and respected livestock marketplace.
What we’re looking for:
- A genuine passion for the livestock industry and rural communities
- Strong sales drive and a hunger for success
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of regional cattle markets (preferred)
What you’ll do:
- Represent Elders at Blackall Saleyards and other regional sales events
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing livestock clients
- Provide trusted advice to producers to help them achieve the best outcomes for their business
- Identify growth opportunities and work proactively to build business in your territory
- Be a visible presence in the community and a trusted partner to producers
