Due to continued growth and expansion in the business, we are currently taking applications for Trade Assistant join our clients team in the Oil and Gas industry.
Details:
Role – Trade Assistant
Located: Karratha, WA
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Until end of 2025
Roster: 2x1 (travel in on first & out on last day of swing)
Hours per day: 10.5
POH: Perth – however we will cover flights from any capital City in Australia
Great rates paid $$$
Superannuation paid on all worked hours
Scope of works:
Construction (and construction verification) scopes, involves replacement of instrument cabling and glanding on a number of skids. This cabling is required to be replaced with compliant stranded cable.
Experience, skills and qualifications:
Essential:
Previous experience in Oil & Gas, mining, or heavy industrial projects
Construction White Card (General Construction Induction)
Previous experience as a Trade Assistant or Labourer in construction or industrial environments
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Physically fit and able to work in hot, remote, and physically demanding environments
Strong safety awareness and commitment to zero harm
Desirable:
High Risk Work License (e.g., EWP, Forklift, Dogging, Rigging)
Confined Space and Working at Heights certification
Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude
