The Opportunity
We're currently looking for a Trainee Vehicle Estimator to join our team.
If you're currently working in a trade role within the smash repair industry and are keen to move into estimating, this is the perfect stepping stone. You'll work closely with our experienced Centre Manager, receive hands-on training, and build your skills and support the workshop team in quoting, customer service, and production coordination.
This is a permanent full-time role, Monday to Friday, offering a long-term career pathway in a growing business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Learn to assess and quote vehicle damage accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver excellent customer service to clients and work providers.
- Assist with vehicle intake, inspections, mapping, and imaging.
- Support parts management and ensure timely ordering and delivery.
- Liaise with suppliers and insurers to get additional work approved.
- Assist in managing workflow and production timelines.
- Support customers through the repair process and handover.
About You
- Previous experience in the collision repair industry in a trade role or similar a MUST
- Keen interest in developing estimating skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-first approach.
- Great communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, positive, and eager to learn.
