Job Description
Are you passionate about training, safety, and making a real impact across our operations? We’re looking for an organised and proactive Training & Compliance Coordinator to step into a key internal role that ensures our people are job-ready, compliant, and set up for success.
This role will coordinate operational training and compliance systems across Newhaul’s Road and Port logistics divisions, managing our training platform (Litmos) and ensuring all training and certification records are accurate, up to date, and audit-ready.
Roster: Monday to Friday

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Training Coordination
- Maintain site-specific training calendars (inductions, VOCs, refreshers, fatigue, equipment licences).
- Ensure all employees complete required modules prior to site mobilisation or role change.
- Liaise with RTOs, Driver Trainers, and SMEs to schedule and coordinate training delivery.
- Work with supervisors to define job-specific training pathways.
Litmos System Ownership
- Act as the Litmos system owner and super user across all sites.
- Create and manage learning modules (inductions, safety refreshers).
- Maintain accurate training records and certification expiry data.
- Provide system support and training to users.
Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Maintain current and compliant training records across all operations.
- Track and proactively renew expiring certifications.
- Ensure records are always audit-ready and support external audit preparation.
Operational Engagement
- Partner with Supervisors and WHS to identify training needs.
- Support onboarding by ensuring modules and induction processes are ready.
- Embed safety and compliance training into operational workflows.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve how training is scheduled, delivered, and recorded.
- Standardise processes and integrate site-specific risk and safety needs.

- Highly Organised – Able to juggle multiple training calendars, certification expiry dates, and system tasks without letting anything slip through the cracks.
- Compliance-Driven – Understands the importance of accurate documentation and takes pride in ensuring records are current, complete, and audit-ready.
- System Confident – Comfortable navigating and troubleshooting learning platforms (ideally Litmos), and competent across tools like SharePoint, Excel, and HRIS systems.
- Collaborative – Works well with people at all levels—knows how to follow up with managers and frontline employees to chase up documentation or close compliance gaps while building strong, respectful relationships.
- Detail-Oriented – Spots inconsistencies or missed expiry dates quickly and takes timely, proactive steps to fix them.
- Accountable – Owns the role and responsibilities, communicates clearly, and doesn’t pass the buck when things need to get done.
