Important update on location: this role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the Event Strategy and Delivery (ESD) Branch during a period of growth and transition. Initially based at Factory 2, 130-138 Link Road, Melbourne Airport, 3045, the position will relocate to the new warehouse at 465 Plummer Street, Port Melbourne in early 2027. The new location will become the primary workplace for the ESD branch from January 2026, with some teams transitioning ahead of this date.
What you will be doing
Reporting directly to Manager, Data and Logistics, this role will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing transport schedules.
- Maintaining consistent communication with transport suppliers to ensure all bookings are completed on time.
- Helping to implement policies, procedures and systems.
- Working with stakeholders to improve the use of data solutions to enhance business decisions and streamline operations.
- Ensure all transport activities comply with relevant legislative requirements and organisational standards.
What you will bring to the role
- Proven experience in planning, development and implementing transport and logistics logs.
- Demonstrated experience across the MS Office Suite including Dynamics and Sharepoint, with a strong knowledge of PowerBI / Automate, Excel, formulas and associated programs strongly regarded.
- Outstanding project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
- High-level verbal and written communication skills.
