A key focus of the coming years will be working with the State and Federal Governments to establish Melbourne Airport Rail; to complete redevelopment of Sunshine and Albion Stations; and the realisation of the Sunshine Precinct Masterplan which will Sunshine transformed into a CBD, vastly increasing local jobs, housing, businesses, services and tourism to provide for the many tens of thousands of people living, working and travelling through the Brimbank.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Permanent staff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.


The role

Reporting to the Tree Cordinator we are seeking a Tree Maintenance Inspector who can bring their skills and experience for:

  • Advanced knowledge of arboricultural work and practices
  • The ability to undertake Visual Tree assessments
  • Ability to use arboricultural plant and equipment
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of computer based software


To be considered you will have:

  • Local government experience is desirable
  • Minimum Diploma of Arboriculture (Certificate V) or currently studying to achieve Diploma
  • Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) or equivalent
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
  • ESI Cert II Powerline Vegetation Control (UET20312)
  • Worksafe High Risk Work Licence Elevated Work Platform (EWP).
  • First Aid (Level 2).
  • Chainsaw Certificate (Level 2).
  • Experience in manual handling techniques.
  • Current Work With Children Check(WWC)
  • Worksite Traffic Management
