Job Description
Reporting to Product Leadership, you will work with agile cross-functional teams to help understand customer problems and build quality solutions. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in Product Discovery and Delivery, having the opportunity to work hands-on with customers and key stakeholders on the commercial side of the business. The outcomes of your work will largely be wireframes and high-fidelity designs, and you will be a critical voice for the creative direction of our product. Below is a snapshot of your core responsibilities:
Design System Development and Management:
- Evolve and maintain our design system, ensuring clarity, consistency, simplicity, scalability, reusability, and velocity, particularly for engineering colleagues.
- Collaborate across teams to embed the design system in all initiatives, ensuring a cohesive user experience and streamlining the design and development processes.
Design Execution and Leadership:
Prioritise tasks in a high-paced environment, leading projects from strategic inception to execution.
Refine design processes and foster knowledge sharing within the team
User Experience Development:
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with user requirements
Design intuitive UX flows and components, enhancing overall user satisfaction
Incorporate genAI practices into your user experience development process
Collaboration and Feedback:
Participate in Product Discovery to understand user needs and challenges.
Work closely with product managers and engineers to align on specifications and delivery outcomes.
Prepare and present drafts to internal teams and stakeholders for iterative feedback.
Data-Driven Design Decision Making:
Utilise analytics to inform design decisions, optimising user interfaces and interactions.
Analyse user interaction data to continuously improve the user experience.
Incorporate genAI into our UX/UI vision for the product.
Qualifications
As a growing SaaS company our products are used by over 1m people globally! We are looking for an experienced UX/UI designer who has worked in B2B SaaS before and who has embraced working with genAI products and/or experience with AI tooling in design practice. Strong expertise in wireframing, prototyping, and design tools (we use Figma).
A portfolio demonstrating digital UI designs, especially for web platforms.
Deep understanding of front-end development, database functionalities, and usability testing.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams.
Excellent attention to detail and technical ability
Familiarity with data analytics tools like Pendo for user behaviour tracking.
Proactive adoption of AI tooling to improve PRDs, story maps, analyse user and industry insights, and develop wireframes and designs
Leverage AI for rapid prototyping of feature concepts and user flow validation
Apply AI-assisted data analysis to identify product usage patterns and optimisation opportunities
Use AI tools for rapid ideation, mood boarding, and design concept exploration
Apply AI-assisted user journey mapping and service design blueprinting
Use AI tools to optimise story prioritisation, based on user value, technical effort, and business impact
Demonstrate proficiency in AI-powered usability testing, analysis and insight generation
