Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Accessory Fitting: Install high-quality accessories like tow bars, bull bars, snorkels, suspensions, side steps, long-range tanks, and GVM upgrades on a range of 4WD vehicles.
- Electrical Installations: Fit electrical systems such as spotlights, light bars, dual battery systems, UHF radios, and brake controllers, ensuring everything is wired to perfection.
- Pre-Delivery Inspections: Perform thorough assessments and pre-delivery checks to guarantee vehicles are fully equipped and ready for customer delivery.
- Apprentice Mentorship: Guide and train apprentices, sharing your expertise and ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new automotive systems, both electrical and mechanical, to keep your skills sharp and ensure your work is always at the cutting edge.
- Vehicle Testing: Test drive vehicles to verify successful installations and repairs.
- Safety First: Maintain a safe, compliant, and organized work environment at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in vehicle accessory fitting and automotive electrical installations.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety in all aspects of your work.
- Ability to train and guide apprentices, helping them develop in the trade.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Relevant qualifications in automotive technology (Certificate III desirable).
- A passion for 4WDs and the expertise to bring out the best in each vehicle.
