Glenny KebabsIs currently looking for capable hospitality managers to step in and lead its restaurant teams. These managers will be joining a growing business positioned to expand quickly with serious opportunity to develop their careers at the pace of their performance.
Role: Venue Manager:Venue Manager is responsible for contributing to the safe, effective, and efficient operation of all aspects of the restaurant. They maintain the delivery of service, quality, and cleanliness to our customers. Venue Managers will create a culture that promotes Leadership, People, being Customer Obsessed, and eagerness towards achieving KPI’s.
Safety Safety leadership, ensuring the safety of all the staff members and customers. Day to day operations according to Local Legislation and Glenny Kebabs safety standard.
employees and supervisors Contribute to new staff onboarding by managing trials, providing feedback on performance and participating at any stage in the recruitment process as directed by the Area Manager
Providing regular and constructive feedback on individual and team performance, strengths and opportunities to the Venue Manager Providing on-the-spot feedback on performance to all employee levels below relevant seniority
Ensure the venue Labour cost is aligned with the budget.Stock Management Daily stock ordering
Minimize stock wastage. Ensure wastage is recorded
Ensure quality control is applied. Ensure all staff members know the SOP’s for product handling
Actively manage COGS day-to-day to ensure alignment to budgetManagement Controllable's Ensure venue’s equipment are well maintained.
Aid with equipment breakdown and troubleshooting. Manage equipment R&M with designated tradesperson when required.
Daily sales cash management (POS) Banking support (weekly deposits and withdrawals) Ensure venue’s cleaning material are adequate. Ensure venue’s stationary are sufficient.
Managing the Business Manage controllable's to achieve in profit goals Engage and promote continuous improvement and business change
Participate in revenue generation strategies and maintain core upsell processes Observe Food Safety and OH&S compliance requirements
Take ownership of own development and drive growth opportunities.Preferred skills Prior Management experience at a supervisory level or above (1+ years)
Experience in a hospitality environment Effective communication, leadership, and organisation skills
Strong commercial acumen – ability to understand key financial principles for profitable operation of the Venue The ability to manage busy shifts by balancing operational excellence and people management
