Casual Video Editor – Brand & Social Content
Location: Remote / Melbourne-based preferred | Casual / Project-Based
We’re on the lookout for a creative and reliable casual video editor to join our team on a flexible, project-by-project basis. This role is ideal for a university student, a freelancer looking to fill gaps, or anyone keen to fine-tune their skills in both long-form storytelling and short-form social content.
What You’ll Be Working On:
- Editing long-form brand videos, interviews, and narrative-driven content
- Creating short-form social edits for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Adding subtitles, graphics, and light motion (when needed)
- Working with raw footage, creative briefs, and occasional tight turnarounds
- Collaborating with our creative team for feedback and direction
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has basic to intermediate experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
- Has an eye for storytelling and pacing — not just cutting clips
- Understands the different tones and styles needed for long vs short-form
- Is self-motivated, reliable, and open to feedback
- Bonus: Comfortable working with brand guidelines and adding your own creative flair
