Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Violin Coach to join our team on a casual basis, providing expert guidance and instruction to aspiring musicians. As a Violin Coach, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring and developing students of various ages and skill levels, helping them unlock their full musical potential.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of Grade 7 in Violin (or equivalent qualification).
- Must have a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Must have valid working rights in Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized and motivational violin coaching sessions to students, tailoring the approach to match their unique learning styles and aspirations.
- Create and implement comprehensive lesson plans and curricula that encompass various facets of violin playing, including music theory, technique, sight-reading, and repertoire.
- Cultivate a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters creativity, self-expression, and a love for music.
- Inspire and challenge students to develop their musical talents through regular practice, while nurturing their confidence and self-esteem.
- Identify areas for improvement in students' playing and offer constructive feedback and guidance to help them overcome challenges and reach their goals.
- Introduce students to a diverse range of musical genres and pieces, broadening their musical horizons and nurturing a well-rounded musical appreciation.
- Prepare students for violin examinations, recitals, and performances, ensuring they feel prepared and confident on stage.
- Keep detailed records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results, sharing progress reports with parents or guardians as needed.
- Stay informed about the latest teaching methods, violin pedagogy, and educational resources to continuously enhance coaching effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other music educators and staff to support the overall growth and success of the music program.
Working Hours:
- Weekdays: 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Weekends: 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Location: CG Music Studios (44/9 Hoyle Ave, Castle Hill)
