The Church of Pentecost Sydney West District is seeking a dedicated volunteer guitar player to join our Praise and Worship ministry.
We are currently inviting applications from musicians who can support and enrich worship during our Sunday services (9 AM – 10:30 AM).
The role involves:
- Playing acoustic or bass guitar to lead and support weekly Praise and Worship sessions
- Learning and performing new gospel, praise, and worship music (music resources provided)
- Collaborating closely with singers, musicians, and worship leaders to cultivate an atmosphere of authentic worship
The ideal candidate will:
- Be consistently available on Sunday mornings
- Possess a spirit of teamwork and willingness to serve
- Be open to learning and engaging with both traditional and contemporary worship styles
- Have prior experience playing guitar in live or group settings (formal training is welcome but not essential)
This is a volunteer opportunity, ideal for individuals who want to use their musical gifts to glorify God while being part of a warm and multicultural faith community.
