Kanyana Engineering is a well-established and respected metal fabrication company based in Greenfields, WA. We're currently seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Assistant with a HR Licence to join our growing operations team.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Loading and unloading laser-cut parts and materials safely
- Internal driving duties (HR licence required)
- Packing and dispatch of customer orders
- Receiving and storing incoming materials
- Operating workshop equipment and tools as needed
- Supporting preventive maintenance activities
- Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organisation of the warehouse
- Accurately completing documentation and following QA processes
- Coordinating with the production team to meet job priorities
- Handling delivery and pickup of jobs and materials as scheduled
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
- A valid HR licence (mandatory)
- A current forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in a warehouse or metal workshop environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of your area
- High computer/data entry skills for paperwork and job tracking
- Physical fitness to perform manual handling safely
