THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you a confident forklift operator that loves customer service? Well, this position is perfect for you! Join our Canning Vale warehouse/distribution centre team, ensuring that orders are prepared for customers on-time, every time!
This is an ongoing,full-time role, working across Monday to Friday from 6am - 2pm (with regular overtime) with a rotating Saturday rostered shift working from 6am - 10am.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in day-to-day operations of distribution centre, ensuring that duties are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, ensuring delivery of stock is efficient and effective.
- Liase with merchandising team to ensure adequate stock is maintained at all times.
- Move stock around the distribution centre using a reach truck/forklift safely, including the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Picking, packing and scanning stock ready for pick-up.
- Manual handling of various products.
- Report to DC Supervisor on related activities.
- General housekeeping duties to ensure a tidy work environment.
- Strict adherence to critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU
- Forklift license or willingness to obtain.
- Previous experience or willingness to supervise a small team in either retail, dispatch, warehousing or related environments.
- Proven ability to provide solutions to enhance the customer's experience.
- Previous experience within customer service/inventory management.
- Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment as well as autonomously
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
- Whilst experience is great, it’ll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart
