The City of Cockburn is an industry leader in waste collection and management, undertaking weekly collection of both domestic and recycling bins for all residents.
We are looking for an experienced, safety focussed Waste Collection Driver who enjoys working in small teams, by supporting fellow team members on their rounds if required.
In addition to being able to provide a current Police Clearance and be able to pass a pre-employment medical, the successful applicant will possess:
- Previous experience operating side arm vehicles
- Significant experience in operating trucks over 18t
- HR Drivers Licence
Salary: $74,903 - $76,126 p/a depending on previous skills and experience, plus super. An additional Waste Collection Allowance of $98.14 per fortnight, and applicable overtime rates also applies.
Hours: 6am to 4pm, 8-day fortnight rolling roster.
